Basic Documents
1. Passport
Original passport with at least six months of remaining validity and blank visa pages, and a photocopy of the passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate.
2. Online Visa Application Confirmation Form and Photo
Online Visa Application Confirmation Form with a recently-taken colorful photo (bareheaded, full face) against a light background(Standard photo size: 48mm × 33mm, head width 21mm ~ 24mm, head length 28mm ~ 33mm). Please fill in the form in good faith and as detailed as possible, especially the important information such as your Itinerary in China.
3. Proof of legal stay or residence status (applicable to non-Lebanese applicants)
4. Photocopy of previous Chinese passports or previous visa for China(Mainland only) (applicable to those who were Chinese citizens and have obtained foreign citizenship)
5. If you were granted visa for China(Mainland only) before, please provide the photocopy of your previous visa.
6. Other documents that consulate officers consider as necessary.

Supporting Documents, according to what type of visa you apply:
X Visa
1. Original and photocopy of the Admission Letter issued by the school.
2. Original and photocopy of "Visa Application for Study in China" (Form JW201 or Form JW202).
3.An original bank statement issued in English with a balance of a required amount($2500 for every school-year) or scholarship certificate.

Special Notes
(1) The invitation letter may be in the form of fax, photocopy or computer printout, but the consular officer may require the applicant to submit the original of the invitation letter.
(2) If necessary, the consular officer may require the applicant to provide other proof documents or supplementary documents.
(3) The consular officer will decide on whether or not to issue the visa and on its validity, duration of stay and number of entries in light of specific conditions of the applicant.

Before your application is submitted, please note the following instructions:
1. The Applicants are obliged to appear in person to provide their own fingerprints. Forgery or impersonation will lead to legal consequences including being denied entrance into China, which shall be borne by the applicants.
2. The invitation letter should be submitted in strict accordance with relevant requirements. The officer has the right to refuse accepting the invitation letter which lacks required information.
3. Applicant or travel agency who submit fake or counterfeit invitation letter or other application documents will be rejected, and can not make any visa application for at least 3 months.
4. Please make sure there is enough time left before the departure date when you submit the application. There is no rush service for certain types of visa.
5. Normally, the visa will be ready in 4 working days.(If you submit the application on Monday, you can get the visa on Thursday.) The express service takes 3 working days to get the visa. The pickup date will be printed on the pickup form.
6. Holders of D, J1, Q1, S1, X1 or Z Visa shall, within 30 days from the date of their entry, apply to the exit/entry administrations of public security organs under local people's governments at or above the county level in the proposed places of residence for foreigners' residence permits.
7. For information about R and J visa, please contact us after you get invitation or permission from Chinese government department or relevant duly authorized entity.
