Notice of opening dates in May 2026 for Belfast Chinese Visa Application Service Centre

Belfast Chinese Visa Application Service Centre will be open on 15^th May 2026.

Time: Please take a queue ticket at reception between 9:00 am and 10:00 am.

Important information before your appointment (Please read):

1. We suggest you submit your Chinese visa application one month in advance but no earlier than three months before your intended departure date.

2. Before you submit your Chinese Visa Application online, you must check your form carefully and make sure there is no error especially in Personal Information section (Section 1). The personal information you filled in the application form must be exactly same as that of your passport. If you fail to do so, then you need to fill in a new online application form.

3. Your original passport and photocopy of your passport personal information page are required.

4. Please provide a photocopy of your previous Chinese visa if you had one before. If your previous Chinese visa is in your old passport, please provide the photocopy of your old passport personal information page as well.

5. For those who were Chinese citizens and have obtained foreign citizenship:

If you are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, you should provide the last Chinese passport held and a photocopy of its data page, also photocopy of your UK permanent visa and registration or naturalization certificate of UK citizenship.  If your personal information is different between Chinese passport and British passport, then you need to provide official certificate to proof the information changes.

If you have obtained Chinese visas before and apply for a Chinese visa with a renewed foreign passport that does not contain any Chinese visa, you should present the photocopy of the previous passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate, as well as the previous Chinese visa page.

6. Please provide a Prepaid Envelope to return your passport and fill in the return address in the envelope (Royal mail special delivery is recommended).
