Notice on Postal Service in Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Bangkok and Chiang Mai
To further facilitate applicants in applying for visas and documents authentication, the Visa Application Service Center in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand will provide two-way or post-back mail services from 1St January 2025.
1.1 Two-way Postal Service: For applicants who meet one of the following conditions:
(1) The Document issued by Thailand and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand;
(2) Applicants applying for a single or double-entry visa for business(M),Tourism(L),Family Visit(Q2),Transit(G) and Crew Membership(C);
(3) Applicants under the age of 14 or over 70;
(4) Applicants who already had their fingerprints collected within the past five years at the Chinese Visa Application Service Center and obtained the visa, still use the same passport to re-apply for a visa at the same center;
1.2 The post-back mail service is applied to any kind of visa or authentication application.
2.Fees
Fees will be applied for postal service. Please click here for detailed information. The mailing service is a voluntary option for applicants. The center encourages applicants to come to the visa center and lodge visa or authentication applications in person.
3. Procedure
3.1 Visa Applicants who decide to process a visa by Two-way Postal Service should complete the online application before mailing the original passport and documents to our center. Please click here for Online Application Procedure;
3.2 Authentication Applicants who decide to process a document authentication by Two-way Postal Service should contact the visa center to check whether their documents do meet the requirements or not. If documents have not be certified by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, our center is not possible to accept your application.
3.3 Applicants need to clearly indicate the mailing address recipient name and other important information on the envelope.
3.4 Once the application is received, the visa center may contact you for further confirmation. Please ensure that the contact information is accessible.
4 Notes:
4.1 No express or urgent service is applied to postal Service;
4.2 The postal service takes about 10 working days in the case of all the required documents are provided. Please allow us enough time to process your application.
4.3 The applicants shall understand and bear all risks of delay, loss, damage, etc. that may occur during the mailing process. If such an event occurs, applicant has to contact Post office by themselves. Visa Application Center is not responsible for any mailing compensation.
4.4 The applicants understand that the Visa Application Center cannot determine the time required for return mailing and does not accept mail status inquiries. Please record the mail tracking number and inquire about the mail status with Thailand Post Office.
