The minimum bank account balance of each applicant applying for tourist visa (L visa category) is adjusted to 100,000 (one Lakh ) Rupees. That means, for each person who wants to apply L visa, he must provide bank account balance documents that prove his or her balance is over 100,000  (one Lakh ) Rupees. 
For family application case, if all travelling expenses will be covered by one person, he must have bank account balance which could cover the lowest balance guarantee for others. For example, if a 3-member family applies for L visa and all expenditure will be covered by one person, this person must prove he has bank account balance over 300,000  (three Lakh ) Rupees.
