Entrusted by the Chinese Embassy in Belgium, the China Visa Application Service Center will start to collect
the 10 fingerprints information of all visa applicants as from 10th December 2019.
The following personnel can be exempted from collecting the 10 fingerprints information:
(1) applicants under the age of 14 or over the age of 70;
(2) applicants holding diplomatic passports;
(3)members of delegations at or above the Deputy ministerial level(included) invited by the central
government of China;
(4)service passport holders, accredited to diplomatic or consular missions in China;
(5)applicants who have registered fingerprints with the same passport are exempted for 5 years from new
fingerprints, provided that they can justify obtaining a biometric visa previously on the same passport.In case
you do not have the possibility to justify the presence of a biometric visa on your passport, the exemption of
taking the impression is also possible, if your previous collection of fingerprints is registered at the same visa center;
(6) the ten fingers are all incomplete or the fingerprints of ten fingers cannot be retained.
Please note that the applicants must retain the fingerprint in person. If someone else pretends to retain the
fingerprint, the applicants may be refused to enter China, and all consequences arising therefrom shall be borne
by the applicants.
