1.To provide applicants with more convenient, efficient, and high-quality services—and taking into account Sweden’s local payment environment and applicants’ payment preferences—the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Gothenburg will officially launch its online payment service on Monday, November 10, 2025.
2.Starting March 31, 2025, all applicants (excluding those applying for Hong Kong and Macao visas) must complete the visa application form online and upload all required documents via www.visaforchina.cn. Applicants holding Diplomatic or Service passports should apply directly to the Consulate General of China in Gothenburg.
If you have successfully passed the online preliminary review and received a confirmation email,you may submit your visa application documents,along with the printed Visa Application Certificate,at the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Gothenburg between 9:00AM and 3:00PM on weekdays,without the need for an appointment.
