Notice of Extending Visa Exemption Policy for the Netherlands and 11 Other Countries

To further promote the people-to-people exchanges, China decides to extend the short-stay Visa-Exemption Policy to 24:00, December 31, 2025 for the Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Malaysia, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg. Citizens holding valid ordinary passports from the above mentioned countries for business, tour, family visit, and transit purposes, will be exempted from visa to enter China, and stay for no more than 15 days from the date of their entry. Those who do not meet the above mentioned travel purposes and time limit for visa exemption or holding other passports or travel documents still need to apply for visa before entering into China.
