Postal service ONLY apply to the SA and TAS applicants who can meet the fingerprint exemption policies.

For details of the fingerprint exemption policy:

(2) "Notice on Exempting Fingerprints Collection for Certain Types of Visa Application" on August 30, 2024 

Please provide all the required documents at one time. If there are any documents missing, we have to pending your application and ask you to send them. In order not to delay your application progress, please make sure to read the following requirements carefully.

Instructions for postal service:

l  The visa center only accepts Australia Post delivery and does not bear any responsibility for losses or damages caused during transportation;

l  Applications that meet the requirements will be directly processed without further notice. You can check the visa status through the website;

l  It takes ten working days to process the application (excluding the delivery time). It is recommended that you do not purchase air tickets before visa grant;

l  The extra postal fee will be charged, please see the Schedule of fees for details；

l  Please do not bind, use paper clips, or put on stickers to sort and organize the materials.

1. Postal address：P.O. Box 7227, Melbourne, VIC 3004

Please mark on the envelope as：Visa Documents（all the applicant name）

Please choose a plastic envelope to prevent your passport from water-damage.

2. Original passport

Please put a sticker on your valid Chinese visa or Chinese residence permit if you have.

Please also post your previous passport if there is a valid Chinese visa or residence permit.

Chinese passport（if applicable）

3. Photo
Two recent paper photos，please see the photo requirements.

If the uploaded electronic photo passes the system review, there is generally no need to submit the photos again; if NOT, please provide two paper photos (please do not paste them on the form)

4. Hard copy of the required application documents

Please print out all the required documents as the website instruction under visa info section, then send out to our center.

Regarding the application form:

(1) Application form number should be started with “MEL”.

(2) Please fill in all the information on the application form accurately. Incomplete information will result in your visa being returned.

(3) Please be advised, the original and authentic signature is required, copies or electronic signature is NOT accepted. The specific documents containing the signature are as follows:

·    Application form: Confirmation of Online Visa Application page

·    Application form: Page 6 for applicant

·    Application form: Page 6 for person filling in the form on the applicant’s behalf

5. Payment Authorization Form

Please provide one Form for all the applicants.

Please write down the applicant’s name if it is different from the card holder’s name.

6. A paid and Self-addressed Australia Post express envelope

Please write down the return address and the applicant full name on the envelope (If the receiver name is different from the applicant name)

Please keep a record of your tracking number so you can track your parcel on Australia Post website.

We will not take any responsibility for any loss or damage to your parcel.
