You must need to come to the Visa Centre in person to submit your application and your fingerprints will be collected. If you want to apply through a travel agency or someone else, the agency/entrusted person will be responsible to confirm with you about the submission and fingerprint collection date. If you are not in Indonesia when submitting, we cannot accept your application. Please submit to the Visa Centre located in the country of your current residency, or submit to us after you come back to Indonesia.

*The consular officers may also request an interview with some applicants. Your failure to attend an interview may consequence to visa rejection.

* Fingerprints exemption is only eligible for the following categories:
1) Applicants is under the age of 14 or over 70;
2) Applicant has used the same passport to apply for the visa and has the fingerprints taken at the Visa Centre in Medan within the past five years.
3) Diplomatic passport holders, or applicants eligible for Diplomatic, Service visa; 
4) Applicant's both hands fingerprints are missing.

5)The Chinese Embassy and Consulates General in Indonesia will continue to exempt the fingerprints of eligible visa applicants for one or two entries for business, tourism, family visit, transit, and crew visas until December 31, 2024.
