To further facilitate Chinese visa applications, fingerprint collection will be exempted for all short-term visa applicants (staying for no longer than 180 days) at the Chinese Embassy and Consulates General in Indonesia from now till 31 December 2026.However, fingerprint collection will still be required, in accordance with relevant regulations, for applicants of D, J1, Q1, S1, X1 and Z visas, who need to apply  residence permits after entering China (for details, please check the following chart).
