Scope of Application

Persons entering China for commercial and trade activities.

Documents to Upload for Online Review

• Passport: Information page and 2 blank pages;

• Photo: Recent, front-facing, color (white background), bareheaded, official ID photo. Click here to view photo requirements;

• Valid stay or residence certificate (for applicants not holding Mexican nationality). Mexican citizens may upload a scanned copy of their ID card or passport information page;

• Scanned copy of previous Chinese visa. Applicants with no prior visa records may upload their passport information page;

• Invitation letter or document for business activities issued by a trade partner in China, such as an invitation to an economic and trade fair;

• Scanned copy of the inviting company's business license and both sides of the inviter's Chinese ID card.

Documents to Bring When Submitting Passport After Review Approval

• Original passport;

• 1 Visa Photo;

• Visa Application Confirmation;

• Valid Chinese visa (if applicable);

• Original Chinese passport (for applicants who previously held Chinese nationality and later acquired foreign nationality, applying for a Chinese visa for the first time).

Notes

• Ensure the passport has a remaining validity of at least 6 months with more than 2 blank pages, and the passport is in good condition with no damage or defacement;

• The invitation letter must include at least the following information:

￮ Purpose of visiting China, business relationship, arrival/departure dates, and place of stay;

￮ Name and contact information of the inviting unit or inviter, address, signature of the inviter, and seal of the inviting unit;

￮ Name of the invitee and passport number.

• The invitation letter for M visa shall not use the templates for L, Q, or S visas, and must be an official invitation letter issued by the inviting unit in China;

• If the inviter is a Chinese citizen, they must sign their Chinese name. If the inviter is a foreign national, upload a copy of the inviter's passport and residence permit in China.

Special Instructions

• Consular officers may, at their discretion, require applicants to provide additional supporting documents or supplementary materials, or conduct an interview with the applicant;

• Consular officers will decide whether to issue a visa, as well as the validity period, number of entries, and duration of stay based on the applicant's specific circumstances.
