Provide two-way mailing service to applicants who meet the requirements of fingerprint collection exemption
In order to facilitate the applicant who meets the requirements of fingerprint collection exemption, the center has got the approval and decided to provide two-way postal service, "applications by mail + passport mailed back", from Dec. 01,2019.
The relevant contents of the two-way mail service are explained as follows:
1. Scope of application. The two-way mailing service is only available to applicants who meet the requirements for fingerprint collection exemption. Excluded: the applicant who is younger than 14 years of age or older than 70 years of age; or, since 1st, Jan. 2019, the one who had obtained a visa from Montreal visa center, meanwhile the applicant apply for visa with the same passport again
It is recommended that the applicant consult the center in advance to confirm whether he/she meets the conditions for no fingerprint collection.

2. Service charges. The two-way mailing service will have additional service fees. It is a voluntary choice for applicants. The center encourages applicants to apply for a visa in person.
For detailed information, please refer to the website of the center. Applicants are advised to contact the Visa Center in advance to confirm the amount of payment.
3. Service methods. If applicants who meet the requirements of fingerprint collection exemption choose the two-way mailing service:
First, they need to visit our website and fill out the application form online (the application form showing " Version 2013" in the upper right corner of the form is no longer used), print it after submission, and the form should be signed by the person or guardian at the corresponding place;
Secondly, other supporting materials should be prepared according to the type of visa applied (the list of materials required for various types of visas can be found on our website);
Third, a pre-paid postage envelope (Post Canada or UPS preferred), fill in the return address, recipient information, etc. .;
Fourth, pay the visa application fee by E-Transfer (Email : montrealcenter@visaforchina.org ),the visa center will contact the applicant after the application files is received; and
Finally, the applicant mail the above materials to the Visa Center: Chinese Visa Application Service Center, # 700, 2000 Mansfield , Montreal , QC , H3A 2Z6 .
Because the two-way mail application involves the complicated procedures, in order to avoid repeatedly sending materials to the center due to incomplete or non-compliant application materials, applicants are highly recommended to visit the center website and read the relevant requirements carefully or contact the center in advance.
