In order to better serve the people-to-people exchanges between China and Cambodia, and provide applicants with more comfortable and convenient visa application condition and more professional and efficient consular certificate services, from March 25, 2024, Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Phnom Penh(hereinafter referred to as "Visa Application Center")   to accept visa and authentication applications of ordinary passports holders. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. The visa  application center will start trial operation from March 25 to 27, 2024 (no service fee will be charged during the trial operation period), and will officially operate on March 28, 2024. The embassy will no longer directly accept visa applications from ordinary passport holders.

For application submission : 9:00 am to 3:00 pm 

For visa collection: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

2. Those who hold diplomatic or service/official  passports or applying for Chinese diplomatic, courtesy, or service visas shall still submit  application directly to the embassy .

3. The Visa Application Center will collect the governmental fees and expedited or express fees (which remain the same as before)on behalf of the embassy. The Visa Application Center charges a service fee. Please refer to the website of the Visa Application Center for service fee collection standards.      

4. The Visa Application Center has no decision on visa approval. The Embassy will decide whether to issue a visa, its validity, duration of stay and number of entries based on the applicant's personal circumstances. The consular officer may request the applicant to provide additional    supporting documents or supplementary materials according to the specific situation, or an interview.
