NOTICE OF HOLIDAY AND OFFICE RELOCATION

Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Seoul will be closed on 24 to 25 September and 1 to 7 October and 9 October 2026 for holidays. The Visa Center will remain open as usual on 28 to 30 September and 8 October. Please note that the collection date will be postponed for holidays. Usually the peak days will start right after the holiday and last for a few days. We kindly suggest that you may arrange an earlier schedule in order to avoid those peak days.

From 8 October 2026 Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Seoul will operate at its new office address . If you have any questions, please contact us by telephone or email. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the relocation of the Center and kindly ask for your understanding.

Important Notice:

Due to the Center's holiday closure and office relocation, applicants who intend to apply for a visa by post are advised to carefully consider the time required for their passports to be delivered by post to the Visa Center. On 30 September 2026, the Center will be open to the public until 15:00. Due to the office relocation, if your passport arrives at the Center's current address (17 th Floor, Namsan Square, 173 Toegye-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul) after this time, or if your passport is delivered to the Center's new address (1 Floor, Taekwang Building, 162-1 Jangchung-dong 2-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul) during the holiday closure from 1 October to 7 October 2026, there may be no staff available to receive the delivery, and the Center may therefore be unable to receive your passport.

Please carefully assess the expected delivery time of your passport and, taking your individual circumstances and requirements into consideration, select an appropriate method for submitting your visa application, such as:

*submitting the application in person;

*submitting the application through a travel agency; or

*submitting the application by post.
