After the online approval, you can visit the visa center to submit your application during working hours. If you are exempted from fingerprints collection, your application may be submitted by someone else on your behalf. The visa center also provides services such as filling out forms on behalf of you, door-to-door collection of documents, and door-to-door delivery of documents. You can choose according to your needs, but you need to pay additional fees. According to the requirements of Chinese Embassy, the following are exempted from finger-print collection:

All applicants holding ordinary passports will be requested to have their fingerprints collected. The following applicants can be exempted from fingerprints collection:

(1)   Applicants under the age of 14 or over 70; 

(2)   Diplomatic passport holders, or applicants eligible for diplomatic, official and courtesy visas; 

(3) Applicants who already had their fingerprints collected within the past five years at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Singapore with the same passport;

(4)   Applicants who suffer from 10 fingers mutilation or whose fingerprints cannot be collected;

(5)   From September 2, 2024 to December 31, 2025, applicants for short term visas (staying for less than 180 days) for one or two entries  will be exempted from fingerprints collection.

The Chinese Embassy kindly request that applicants shall have their fingerprints collected in person. Those forge fingerprints or use other people's fingerprints will be denied entry into China and bear all the consequences incurred.
