Visa Application in Three Steps:
Step 1: Submit Application Online
Step 2: Submit Application In-Person
Step 3: Collect Passport In-Person
To help you complete your visa application more smoothly, please read the following application process instructions carefully.
STEP 1: Online Submission:Submit your application online and wait for the online review to complete.
If you wish to skip the following steps, the Visa Center offers a service to fill out application forms and upload supporting documents, which you can choose as needed.
This website is for those who are going to apply for a Chinese visa in Singapore.
Please make sure you’ve chosen the correct location.

1. Register an account and sign in.
1.1 Click "Register/Signin" in the upper right corner of the page to register an account or log in to an existing account.
1.2 After logging into your account, click "My Account" to start filling out the form or view the forms you have already filled out.
2. Complete Online Visa Application Form
2.1 All applicants (excluding those applying for visas to Hong Kong SAR of China and Macao SAR of China) are required to:
2.2 Upload the visa application documents, including passport, photo and required supporting documents.
3. Submit Application online
3.1 After completing the form and uuloading the documents, please click the Submit button.
3.2 The page will redirect to the PAY page. Please click Submit button on the PAY page again to complete the online submission, otherwise the status will be PENDING.

3.3 After successful submission, the application status will display as " Under Review". "Pending" or "Pending Payment" means you have not yet submitted successfully. (There may be occasional system delays; if he status has not been updated, please check again later.)
Please note that: Online payment is not available now, and please pay with CASH or Paynow when making submission at Visa Centre after the online review has been completed. Be vary of any other requests for payment to aovid being scammed.
4. Wait for the preliminary check and online review.
Please note that: Online review typically takes at least 5-15 working days. If needed, the Visa Center offers Priority Online Review service. Due to varying case circumstances, some applications may take longer to review. The final decision rests with the consul.
4.1 You might receive an email stating you should upload additional documents or make other modifications, and the status will be “Rejected" /“To be modified". Please make modifications and submit again, and the status will be “Under review”.
4.2 You might receive a confirmation email when the online review has been completed, and the status will be shown as “Online review completed”. Please print the attached Visa Application Certificate and bring it to the Visa Centre with other required documents (check step 2).
4.3 The application status can be checked by logging into your account.

Please note: Usually, the same passport cannot be used to submit two or more visa application forms at the same time. If you need to reapply due to mistakes in selecting the country, canceling your trip, changing the purpose of your visit to China, etc., you must first cancel the existing application before proceeding to fill out a new form.
Before the online review is completed, you can cancel your application on your own. Click here to see how to cancel. Starting from January 1, 2026, if the online review is completed, and you wish to cancel it for personal reasons, you or an authorized person must go to the visa center to submit a cancellation request and pay the service fee.
STEP 2: Offline Submission at the Visa Centre after online review completed(Appointment is not required. )
If you are unable to submit your materials to the Visa Center in time after the online review is completed, the Visa Center offers Pre-submission service (to store your passport at the Visa Center before the nline review is completed) and Door-to-Door Pickup service (to have a Center staff pick up your materials at your door). You can choose according to your needs.
Please note that: Before submitting the application at the Visa Center, please ensure that the your application status is “Online review completed”.
After the online review is completed, please submit your application to the Visa Center within 30 days. If you hold a diplomatic or service/official passport, or are applying for a Chinese diplomatic, official, or courtesy visa, please still submit your application directly to the Chinese Embassy in Singapore.
2.1 Submission at the Visa Centre
Please bring the following documents, and you might be required to provide more documents at the Centre if deemed necessary.
(1) Visa Application Certificate (attached to the Approval email)
(2) Original passport
(3) A photo if the uploaded one is indicated as unqualified.
(4) Original certificate of kinship or house ownership, if have been required to be uploaded.
(5) Printed documents with barcode, if have been required to be uploaded.
(6) If you apply for a two-year multiple visa, please bring printed application form with all pages and all application documents.
2.2 All applicants holding ordinary passports will be requested to have their fingerprints collected. The following applicants can be exempted from fingerprints collection:
(1) Applicants under the age of 14 or over 70;
(2) Diplomatic passport holders, or applicants eligible for diplomatic, official and courtesy visas;
(3) Applicants who already had their fingerprints collected within the past five years at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Singapore with the same passport;
(4) Applicants who suffer from 10 fingers mutilation or whose fingerprints cannot be collected;
(5) Till December 31, 2026, applicants for short term visas (staying for less than 180 days) for one or two entries will be exempted from fingerprints collection.
The Chinese Embassy kindly request that applicants shall have their fingerprints collected in person. Those forge fingerprints or use other people's fingerprints will be denied entry into China and bear all the consequences incurred.
2.3 Make payment
Payment is made upon submission of your application at the Visa Centre. Cash or Paynow payments are accepted.
Please submit your documents at theCentre between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on weekdays. Please check holiday notices in advance. Upon arrival, please obtain a queue number from the front desk.
Paid printing and photo services are available on-site at the Visa Application Centre.
To save waiting time, the Visa Application Centre offers No Queue service, which can be purchased on-site if needed.
For your flexibility, the Visa Centre offers Extended service hours, allowing you to submit your application until 5:30 PM. This service can be purchased upon request.
STEP 3: Collection
3.1 From the day you submit the application at the Visa Centre:
Collection is on the fourth working day (9AM-4PM) for regular service.
Collection is on the third working day (2PM-4PM) for express service.
Collection is on the second working day (2PM-4PM) for urgent service.
Please note that: The above collection time is provided as a general guideline. However, as each application is assessed individually, the Embassy may extend the processing time based on the specific circumstances of a case. As a result, the collection time may vary from one application to another, and some applications may require a longer processing period.
The issuance of a visa, including the type of visa, number of entries, and duration of stay, is ultimately decided by the Embassy. Service fees are non-refundable if your visa is not issued on time. Your passport must be left while you wait for visa processing; it will be retrieved along with the visa on the collection date.
If you urgently need your passport while waiting for your visa but wish to continue the visa application process, you can choose Temporary Passport Withdrawal service if needed.
If you are unable to come to collect your documents in person, the Center offers a dedicated Door-to-Door Delivery service. A specialist will deliver your passport to your designated location. This service is available upon request.
3.2 On the collection date, the original collection slip(Pickup Form) issued when you submitted your application must be presented to collect your passport and visa.
You can collect on the collection date shown on the Pickup Form or on a subsequent working day from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please be sure to check the Center's website for holiday notices in advance.
Collection can be done in person or by someone else on your behalf; the original Pickup Form must be presented in either case.
If the Pickup Form is lost, the applicant must collect the passport in person. When collecting the passport, please present an ID with your photo. If you are authorizing someone else to collect the passport, you should provide a letter of authorization, and the ID of both yourself and the authorized person.
