In order to further facilitate the application of visa to China by foreign citizens, the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia will implement appointment-free visa application starting from October 23, 2023. Applicants may submit ordinary visa applications to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Surabaya without appointment. The process is as follows:
1. Fill in the visa application form online and print the visa application form in paper form (complete form), after completing and signing on the confirmation page and on page 7 (section 9.1).
2. Visit the Chinese Visa Application Service Center to submit the application materials.
3. To remember: Following the cancellation of the online visa appointment system, there may be more applicants on site at peak times. It is recommended to arrange time reasonably and apply at staggered times. Peak times are usually on Mondays and around holidays.
