Important Infomation

To further facilitate visa applicants, from September 2, 2024, to December 31, 2025, fingerprint collection will be exempted for all applicants of short-term visas for single or double entry submitted.

According to the notification from the Chinese Embassy in Austria, from August 24, 2024, any application forms filled out on or before August 23, 2024, will no longer be valid. Applicants must visit the website of the Vienna Chinese Visa Application Service Center at https://bio.visaforchina.cn/VIE3_EN/qianzhengyewu, complete the online visa application form, and upload the required visa application materials.

Please confirm online that your application status is "Ready to submit passport" and that you have received the official confirmation email. After printing the "Visa Application Receipt," please submit your original passport, a photocopy of the information page, Passport photos, and all uploaded visa application documents to the Visa Application Center. For more details, please refer to "Visa Application Process"

The Documents submission time at the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Vienna are from Monday to Friday (except public holidays).

Urgent and Express Service Visa: 9:00-13:00

Ordinary service visa applications: 9:00-14:30

Pick up time: 09:00-16:00

Please notice：

1. For reduce your waiting time, please be sure to follow the center`s website requirements to fill put the application form truthfully and submit all the required application materials. If the documents are incomplete or do not conform the requirements, your processing time will be 2-3 hours and you may be unable to submit your application on the same day.
