Notice about the visa to Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR of China

Starting from 1st May , 2019, those who apply visas for the Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR of China are kindly requested to submit applications via Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC). The Consular Department of the Commissioner's Office will no longer accept this type of visa applications directly. Details are as follows:

1、All applicants holding ordinary passports can apply for a visa through Chinese Visa application center or the Immigration Department of the Government of the HK SAR before the trip.

2、The Visa Application Center is not involved in the visa approval process.

3、For more information on “visa” and “Entry Permit” Exemption, you may refer to the “Visit Visa/Entry Permit Requirenments for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region”.

4、Holders of diplomatic or service passports, or those applying for diplomatic, courtesy, service visa or for Hong Kong/Macao visas/entry-permits are requested to apply directly at the Consular office of the Chinese Embassy as usual.

5、Service fee of Chinese visa Application Service Center: The center will charge visa fees on behalf of the Chinese Embassy. Additionally, the center will charge the service fees, the more information please check with our website.
