Starting from September 30, 2025, the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Toronto will implement the Chinese Visa Online Processing System, in coordination with   the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Toronto.

At that time, all applicants (excluding those applying for visas to Hong Kong, China, and Macao, China) must first fill out the application form and submit all required electronic application materials online. Applicants may proceed to the Toronto Chinese Visa Application Serves Center(CVASC) to submit their documents only after the verification has been approved (note: approval of the online review does not mean the visa has been granted). Applicants may proceed to submit physical documents and make payment at the CVASC (on working days from 9:00 a.m. EST. to 3:00 p.m. EST, no appointment required).
