关于对所有短期签证申请人免采指纹的通知

为进一步便利签证申请人，自即日起至2026年12月31日，中国驻外签证机关对所有申请停留期180日以内的短期签证申请人免采指纹。

对D字、J1字、Q1字、S1字、X1字及Z字等入境后需办理居留证件的签证申请人，仍按规定采集指纹。

Notice on the Further Expansion of the Period and Scope of Exemption from Fingerprint Collection for Chinese Visa Applications

To further facilitate Chinese visa applications, from 18 December 2025 to 31 December 2026, fingerprint collection is exempted for all short-term visa applicants (staying for no longer than 180 days) at the Chinese visa centers in Switzerland.

Fingerprint collection will still be required, in accordance with relevant regulations, for applicants of D, J1, Q1, S1, X1 and Z visas, who are required to apply for residence permits after entering China.
