Notice on Launching the China Online visa Processing System
Dear Applicants,
To further enhance the efficiency of visa applications and optimize service processes, our Visa Center will collaborate with the Chinese embassy in Denmark to launch the China online visa processing system. Starting from March 31st 2025, all applicants (excluding visa applicants for Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR) must first complete the online application form and submit materials through the new system. After passing the online review, applicants may proceed to the Visa Center to submit their documents (diplomatic or official visa applicants please continue to submit materials at the embassy or consulate concerned).
To ensure a smooth system upgrade, the Visa Center will conduct system updates on March 28th 2025. After the upgrade, all forms filled in on the current website can no longer be used. Therefore, applicants who have already filled in forms on the current website must submit their materials to the Visa Center before March 28th 2025. Additionally, during the system upgrade period (from 00:00 on March 28th 2025 to 00:00 on March 29th 2025), we advise applicants not to fill in forms to avoid data loss.
After launching the China Online Visa Processing System, the visa application process will be as follows:
(I) Prepare Visa Application Materials
Visa application materials include basic documents and other supporting materials.
(II) Fill in the Online Visa Application Form and Upload Materials online
Visit the website of China Visa Application Service Center (http://www.visaforchina.cn), choose the “Denmark Visa Application Centre”, create an account, and sign in. Follow the instructions to complete the Visa Application Form online, upload required materials, and submit them for preliminary review. All applicants (excluding those who apply visas for SAR Hong Kong China and Macao SAR) must use this platform to complete and submit their applications.
Important Reminder:
After submission, the Chinese Embassy in Denmark or Visa Center may request additional materials. Please check your application status via the “Track your application”. When the status updates to “Approved”, print the last page of Visa Application form and sign on it.
(III) Submit Materials and Pay Fees at the Visa Center
1. If your application status is “Approved”, and you have received a confirmation email, bring the printed Visa Application Certificate to the Visa Center during working hours (10:00–12:00 on weekdays) to submit your application.

- Original passport and a copy of the information page.
- Signed last page of the Visa Application Form.
- One recent color photo (taken within the last 6 months, white background, full-face, 48mm×33mm).
