Based on a note from the Chinese Embassy in the UK, from 31 March 2025 all applicants are required to visit the website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in London, creat/sign in your account, and then click My account to fill the application form and upload all necessary documents online. Detailed information regarding the application process, please click here. This must be read!!! Please note: Before submitting your passport at the Visa Center, please ensure that the your application status is“Approved” and wait for email notifications of your visa progress. Once you've received the confirmation email, you can bring your Visa Application certificate and passport to the visa centre.

Please note that we do not ask for any payment by phone or online. All the payment regarding your visa application should be done when you are in the visa centre.

Notice on Visa Facilitation for "Young Envoys Scholarship (YES) Program" Applicants

The Chinese Embassy and Consulates-General in the UK will issue three-year F visa with multiple entries to applicants with exclusive YES Invitations issued by CEAIE. At the same time, visa processing fees (including fees for expedited processing ) will be waived. Applicants should submit their applications online on the website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (https://www.visaforchina.cn/LON3_EN/qianzhengyewu). After receiving the notice of approval, applicants should bring relevant documents (including passport, YES Invitation and photos of the applicant) to the embassy or consulates-general for processing.
