According to the notice from the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in Germany, from August 26, 2024, applicants need to log on to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center website www.visaforchina.cn, fill out the online visa application form and upload the documents to apply for a visa. Application forms completed before August 25 (inclusive) will no longer be used.

Special reminder: Before submitting your passport and application documents to the Visa Application Center from August 26, please confirm that your application status is “Approved” and you have received the confirmation email. Please print the "Visa Application Certificate".

From November 20, 2023, appointments for visa applications in our center will no longer be necessary.

Applicants applying for a visa for minor children should bring with them the permanent residence permit that the parents had when the child was born.
