Notification to prevent telephone fraud
Recently, some people reported that they received a call from our center (+ 61-2-94758800), saying the receiver have parcels seized by the customs, or the phone was connected without sound. After verification, the criminals use the number software to forge the call number, posing as visa center personnel.
Chinese Visa Application Service Centre Sydney reminds all applicants:

2. The telephone of our center is mainly used to answer visa application related questions, without any other content. If you have not submitted the visa application in our center, you will not be contacted through our telephone. We will neither call the applicant to the center to get documents and items unrelated to visa, nor inform them they are involved in judicial cases.
3. If you received such suspicious calls, it is recommended to hang up the phone first, and then call our center for confirmation.
4. If you are unfortunately cheated, you should report the case to the Australian police immediately.
