1. How to make my payment?
You make the payment when your passport is ready to be returned to you.
Fees to be paid include:
- Visa fee collected on behalf of the Chinese Embassy/Consulate-General
- Service fee charged by the Centre
Please note the visa fee and the service fee will vary across different categories, so it is suggested you click here to check your estimated visa fee and service fee.
Cash is NOT acceptable for a postal application. You can make your payment by debit card, credit card, money order. Please fill in the Debit Card/ Credit Card Payment Authorization Form and include it in your application package posted to the Centre. Please click here to download this form. Your fee will be deducted from your debit/ credit card according to the actual amount. A receipt will be included in the passport package posted back to you. The Visa Centre will post your passport back as soon as it receives your payment.
2. How to get my passport back?
You are kindly requested to provide a prepaid self-addressed envelope in the package that you post to the Visa Centre containing your application. Please use a reliable postal service for the safety of your package. If you do not provide a prepaid return envelope, the Centre will provide one and charge you accordingly. Your passport will be posted back to you as soon as the Visa Centre receives your payment.
3. How to track the returning package with my passport?
Once the Visa Centre sends your passport to post, the Visa Centre staff will inform you in due time. It is suggested that you make note of the tracking number of your prepaid self-addressed envelope, so that you can track the returning package. You can track your package with the postal service provider.
In case your returning package is delayed or is lost, the Visa Centre will provide assistance to help you to track it with the postal service provider. However, the Visa Centre is not liable for any delay, loss or damage of your passport and/or your documents during transit.
4. What should I do when I receive my passport?
As soon as you receive the passport, please carefully CHECK the particulars on your visa, such as your name, birth date, passport number, validity, number of entries, and duration of stay. Let the Visa Centre staff know immediately if there is any problem.
