Recently, due to lapses or errors by travel agencies in completing certain sections of the online application form, as well as the submission of fabricated invitation letters, some medical treatment visa applications have been returned, resulting in losses to applicants.

In order to protect applicants’ legitimate rights and interests and to promptly identify and penalize non-compliance, the online application form has been updated and the “Travel Agency Guarantee Letter” has been designated as a mandatory item. Online applications without the required Guarantee Letter will be returned. Applicants are advised to supervise the travel agencies handling their applications and ensure that all required materials are submitted in strict accordance with the relevant requirements, so as to avoid delays in visa processing.

If an applicant fails to obtain a visa within the expected timeframe, they should promptly follow up with the travel agency concerned. Applicants are cautioned not to be misguided by false or misleading claims made by travel agencies or other individuals, such as exaggerating the difficulty of visa processing or arbitrarily inflating visa fees.

If a travel agency omits required information, fills in incorrect information, submits fabricated invitation letters, or fails to process online applications in a timely manner, thereby causing delays in visa issuance in violation of applicants’ rights and interests, the Embassy will temporarily or permanently suspend acceptance of application materials submitted by the relevant travel agency.
