In order to better serve China-Mexico exchanges and provide applicants with more comfortable and convenient visa application conditions, as well as more professional and efficient consular document services, as of XX/2024, applicants with ordinary Mexican passports and other nationalities applying for Chinese visa or Hong Kong and Macao visa will be required to submit their applications at the Visa Center in Mexico. The Chinese Visa Center in Mexico will charge an additional service fee in addition to the Chinese Embassy in Mexico visa fee, please click here .November 11th to November 13th is the trial period of the Mexico City Visa Center. During this period, applicants who apply chinese visa will be exempt from service fees.

Important suggestion:

Diplomatic or official passports, or applicants for Chinese diplomatic, courtesy or official visas, should continue to submit their applications directly to the Consular Section of the Embassy of China in Mexico, which will continue to accept applications for notarized authentication, passports and travel documents.

The Visa Application Center is not involved in the visa approval process. The consular officer at the Embassy will decide on the issuance of the visa and its validity, the period of stay and the number of entries based on the applicant's particular circumstances. Depending on the circumstances, the consular officer may ask the applicant to submit additional supporting documents or materials or ask the applicant to attend to an interview.
