According to the Notice by the Chinese Embassy in France on « the Temporary Suspension of Entry into China by Non-Chinese Nationals in France Holding Valid Chinese Visas or Residence Permits», the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in Paris ( hereinafter referred to as « the Chinese Visa Centre  ») will adjust its  opening hours and modify the requirements for applications as follows :

1. From November 16th 2020, the Chinese Visa Centre will open to the public on Tuesdays only. Business hours for submission: 10:00 – 13:00. Business hours for visa collection: 10:00 –14:00. Currently the Chinese Visa Centre provides only regular service ( 6 working days) and postal return service (10 working days). The express service is not available at the present.

2. Updated application eligibility and requirements :

(1) Application for the crew (C) visa :

Applicant shall complete the application form online on the website of the Chinese Visa Centre in Paris and submit the application at the Chinese Visa Centre without appointment.

(2) Applicant who intends to visit China for humanitarian reasons ( to visit an immediate family member in critical medical condition or to attend the funeral of an immediate family member) :

Applicant shall first explain his/her situation and provide related documents such as medical certificate or death certificate and official documents of family relationship (Inc. birth certificate, marriage certificate, Chinese household registration, notarial certificate of kinship etc.) by email ( pariscentre@visaforchina.org). Once the application is approved, applicant shall complete the application form online on the website of  the Chinese Visa Centre in Paris and submit the application on the appointment confirmed by the Chinese Visa Centre.

(3) The Chinese Visa Centre only accepts applications that meet the requirements.

The above-mentioned adjustments are temporary measures. We will keep you informed on any further changes.
